Hello and welcome to COSM Aquaria!

My mission is to help ordinary people bring nature into their daily lives. Whether that takes form as a little plant in a jar, an emergent terrarium or a bespoke natural centerpiece in your home; I'd take immense pleasure in sewing the sublime into your home environment.

COSM was born out of a deep love for Aquariums and an art style named Aquascaping, which was pioneered by the late Tekashi Ammano and has since captured multitudes of artistic aquarists. It is because of these influences that I like to place a heavy emphasis on the wellbeing of the fauna that we keep in our natural environments as well as its aesthetics. A very wise aquarist said that when you care for the plants in a tank all that reside within are taken care of also.

I hope to teach, anyone with a passion to learn, about balanced aquatic environments where the fauna serves the flora, the flora serves the fauna and they both serve to improve our health and internal wellbeing.

I'll be creating guides and tutorials to aid anyone and everyone who would like to create their own natural Micro-COSM. These include tutorials on how to build emergent terraria, how to build a low energy aquarium or aquatic garden, how to care for the plants in those systems and anything that I feel would be stimulating for a biophiles mind.

In the real world I can be found at various markets and horticultural events, with a stall and some terrariums to sell and knowledge to share if you just want to come and talk about aquatics.

Events and Appearances

I have had the privilege of appearing at various markets and festivals such as the Grubber posts plant swap, Burst LDNs creative market, the Garden Museums Houseplant festival and the Black Farmers market. In addition I've had opportunities to run workshops with youth and adults all around London in collaboration with Rooted Rhapsodies collective; teaching people about contemplative terrarium building and emergent terrariums.

My services are available for you if you feel that you'd like to create a natural microcosm within your space whether it be an office group, a school class, community space or natural collective.
